To admire the panoramic view of Cubserviès waterfall, make your way to the tiny hamlet of the same name, perched at the top of a rocky outcrop, in the town of Roquefère.

From this viewpoint, you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view.
Cubserviès waterfall is a natural masterpiece: Sambrès plateau dominates this part of the Montagne Noire, with its vast blanket of conifers. Several streams come together here to form the Rieutort river. The river enters a fault in the rock to create the Cubserviès waterfall.

The waterfall is made up of a series of drops from a height of almost 90 metres, making it the highest waterfall in the department of Aude. It is not possible to reach the foot of the waterfall as the water is too deep. It is forbidden to get too close to the waterfall, it is far too dangerous!

The part that can be seen from the viewpoint is 35 metres high and is absolutely stunning!

There is a hiking loop trail, ‘Cubserviès waterfall’ that departs from Roquefère. This 16 km trail with an elevation gain of 700 m will guide you across the varied landscapes of the Sambrès plateau. After a few kilometres, you’ll come to the stunning panoramic view of Cubserviès waterfall.
