La Muse is first and foremost a large old house nestled in the heart of a village in the Montagne Noire. The ten rooms overlook a densely wooded valley, a vast and soothing landscape that promotes concentration.
People come here to write, paint, draw, photograph, compose a concerto or songs… It is also the ideal place to think about a project, imagine a novel, finish a doctoral thesis, draw inspiration from nature or your reading, and explore new avenues.
Everyone is free, without constraints, to write a hundred pages a day or dream of the perfect canvas, to spend their days alone or share the creative energy of the other residents.
Time at La Muse takes on another dimension: it stands still. It’s a strange feeling, but very quickly you forget the days and hours, immersed in your own time.
