In a charming old farmhouse situated at the foot of the Pic de Nore, just a stone’s throw from the GR36, the walking trails and Lake Birotos – where you can go for a swim – you’ll be able to enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside.
This farmhouse, divided into three sections, is home to the small holiday cottage ‘La Main Gauche’, a semi-detached family home, flanked by the owners’ house and the ‘Jaune’ cottage.
‘La Main Gauche’ is a cosy little gîte, particularly well-suited to families, especially for a stay with two parents and two children. It has a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. A few toys are also available for the children.
You’ll be staying in a comfortable and welcoming setting. In summer, settle down under the pergola to enjoy a meal al fresco. In winter, the fire in the stove will keep you warm and create that typical mountain evening atmosphere.
For all your festive occasions throughout the year, a unique bar-style room, complete with an open stage and a small adjoining kitchen, is sure to delight you. This room is also a godsend for groups of musicians looking for a holiday spot where they can rehearse on site.
Indeed, Domaine La Source et la Sorcière is also an ideal venue for groups, whether they’re musicians, sports enthusiasts or gathering for a family reunion. Thanks to the two side-by-side holiday cottages, the ‘Gîte Jaune’ and ‘La Main Gauche’, accommodating 6 and 4 people respectively, you can enjoy your privacy whilst still coming together in the various communal areas.
A place not to be missed, particularly for groups of horse riders: paddocks can be set up and a meadow is at your disposal.
Finally, the warm and welcoming owners, Yan and Suzi, also offer a table d’hôtes option, with the choice of breakfast and an evening meal, to be requested in advance.
