Porc de Thor is a free-range pig farm in the heart of the Montagne Noire.
The pigs are raised exclusively outdoors, where they receive no preventive treatments. Every day, they are fed the best local grains and are free to run and root around among the oak and chestnut trees. which is what gives them their unique flavour.
The cereals that Thor feeds his pigs come exclusively from local farms. Every day, they are given a healthy mix of barley, maize and field beans, but much of their food can also be found in the forest: acorns and chestnuts.
To enjoy this meat from sustainable farming in the Montagne Noire, visit Thor’s farm, where he sells fresh meat directly to the public in boxes and as charcuterie. Free home delivery is available within a 30 km radius of Saissac for a minimum order of one 5 kg box. You can also find Thor’s pork products at the Marché enchanté market in Brousses-et-Villaret.
